Between The Country LP

Ian Noe recorded his debut at Nashville's RCA Studio A with Dave Cobb producing, and the songs sit close to the ground, small rooms, cracked roads, people counting exits out of Beattyville, Kentucky, where he grew up. NPR singled out the plainspoken writing and set his eye for detail next to John Prine's. The record's reach followed the songs, he went on to open for Prine, Son Volt, Jamestown Revival, and Blackberry Smoke.
