Pretty On The Inside LP

A week in Music Box Studios in Hollywood was all it took for Hole to cut Pretty on the Inside, with Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon and Don Fleming behind the board and Courtney Love, Eric Erlandson, Jill Emery, and Caroline Rue doing the work. Caroline Records put it out in 1991, and "Teenage Whore" climbed to No. 1 on the UK Indie Chart before Spin named the album one of its 20 best of the year. Nobody polished the edges off this one.
