Maggot Brain SACD

Somebody finally treated Maggot Brain like the holy document it is. Dave Gardner remastered this hybrid SACD at DSG Mastering from the original analog master tapes, captured using the same all-analog processing run for the 45RPM vinyl cutting, part of a joint Org Music and Westbound reissue. George Clinton produced the album, but the ten-minute title track belongs to Eddie Hazel, who cut that guitar solo in one take like a man arguing with God. Still one of the heaviest, most influential records out of the P-Funk camp.
