Teenager of the Year: Live CD

Teenager of the Year was Frank Black's second solo record after the Pixies, a sprawling 22-track effort cut with producer Eric Drew Feldman and old bandmate Joey Santiago back on guitar. It landed coolly at the time but has since turned up on Pitchfork's list of the best albums of the 1990s and in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die. For its 30th anniversary, Black played the whole thing live, and this CD holds that room, not a studio redo.
