Sky Full Of Holes - 15Th Anniversary Edition LP

Sky Full of Holes turned out to be Fountains of Wayne's last album, Adam Schlesinger and Chris Collingwood steering it toward something hushed instead of hooky. It still pushed the band into the Billboard 200's Top 40 for the first time, guitarist Jody Porter crediting a stretch of acoustic touring for pulling the sound inward. The Guardian picked closing cut "Cemetery Guns" as the record's best moment. Fifteen years on, it gets a fresh pressing for Record Store Day, not its first trip to vinyl.
