#1 LP

#1 surfaced first on International DeeJay Gigolo Records before Capitol and Ministry of Sound picked it up wider, electroclash built around Fischerspooner's theatrical live shows as much as the songs themselves. "Emerge" later made Pitchfork's list of the best songs of the 2000s, and the record tucks in a cover of Wire's "The 15th" among its glitter. It's been repressed more than once with the track list shifting each time. This one's hot pink, and it's Casey Spooner and Warren Fischer's project back on the shelf for Record Store Day Black Friday.
