Midnight Ragas LP

Midnight Ragas drifts like radio static sliding between stations, catching fragments of French, Spanish, and English before it settles. Eric Hilton, a Thievery Corporation co-founder, cut this solo set on his own Montserrat House label with longtime singers Natalia Clavier and Puma Ptah back at his side, working the same downtempo, trip-hop, and lounge terrain he helped popularize. One critic called it a compilation album that isn't, built from shifting moods rather than one fixed groove.
