February 25, 1964, at Van Gelder's, Dolphy cut this with Freddie Hubbard, Bobby Hutcherson, Richard Davis and Tony Williams in the room. It was his only date as a leader for Blue Note, and he was dead in Berlin by June. The Penguin Guide gave it a crown. Figure out why yourself.
