These Killing Times LP

Emma Ruth Rundle put out her sixth solo album on her own label, Errant Child, after a catalog running from the folk-toned Some Heavy Ocean through the heavier On Dark Horses and her Thou collaboration May Our Chambers Be Full. Before going solo she played guitar in Red Sparowes and formed the trio Marriages, and that instinct for weight still shapes things here. Sonny DiPerri produced, with Patrick Shiroishi, Marissa Nadler, and Baroness guitarist Gina Gleason contributing to a record built on raw, confessional writing under heavy arrangements.
