Self-Titled LP

Embrace existed for less than a year, 1985 into 1986, but the Washington D.C. band left a mark: Ian MacKaye, fresh off Minor Threat, sang, backed by three members pulled from The Faith, Michael Hampton, Chris Bald, and Ivor Hanson. Their only album didn't come out until 1987 on Dischord, a year after the band was already gone, and it's often named as a founding emo record, a term MacKaye never much cared for.
