Please Come Home For Christmas 12"

Charles Brown cut this as a blues ballad for King Records back in 1960, mournful and slow. The Eagles took it electric in 1978 and turned it into a chart invader: number 18 on the Hot 100, the first Christmas song to crack that top twenty since Roy Orbison's "Pretty Paper" in 1963. It's since gone 4x Platinum, and it was the first Eagles cut to feature new bassist Timothy B. Schmit. Crystal clear vinyl, exclusive to Record Store Day Black Friday.
