Main Title Theme / The Monorail Song 10"

Matt Groening asked Danny Elfman for a title theme in 1989, and Elfman worked out the melody on the drive home from that meeting, later calling it the most popular piece of his career; it picked up an Emmy nomination in 1990. Paired here is The Monorail Song from the fourth season's Marge vs. the Monorail, Conan O'Brien and Al Jean's turn on The Music Man's Ya Got Trouble, sung by Phil Hartman as con man Lyle Lanley with the rest of the cast filling in behind him.
