Tokyo 1980s Victor Edition pulls boogie, funk and modern soul sides from the Victor label's catalog of that decade, compiled by DJ Notoya. Naomi Akimoto's "Bewitched (Are You Leaving Soon)" and Yoko Oginome's "Lazy Dance" sit among the cuts, part of the wider reissue push into Japan's overlooked city pop and boogie-adjacent sounds. plusGROUND presses this one on purple vinyl.
