Auto-Pain LP

Deeper's "Auto-Pain LP" wades through the murky depths of post-punk, where shadowy synths linger like fog in a Chicago alley. Released by Fire Talk on March 27, 2020, this sophomore album swaps out pile-driving for a more nuanced approach, driven by crisp guitar lines and tight bass grooves. The urgent drumming of Shiraz Bhatti channels ancestral rhythms, grounding the music as it grapples with the weight of emotion, tearing through the chaos with precision.
