We're All Gonna Die 2LP

We're All Gonna Die, Dawes' fifth album originally out in 2016, is the record where the L.A. folk-rock band let producer Blake Mills, a former bandmate from their Simon Dawes days, push the sound toward something slicker. Rolling Stone noticed, titling its review "Dawes Slicks Up," and the guest list (Jim James, Mandy Moore, Brittany Howard, Will Oldham) backs up the pivot. It still cracked No. 42 on the Billboard 200, and "When the Tequila Runs Out" hit No. 5 on Adult Alternative Songs. This one's the 10th-anniversary pressing, dodger blue and blanco vinyl.
