Panzerfaust LP

Panzerfaust is Darkthrone's fifth album, and basically a one-man job: Fenriz played guitar, bass, drums, and synths on a four-track in his home setup, cheekily named Necrohell Studios, while Nocturno Culto handled vocals. Varg Vikernes wrote the lyrics for "Quintessence," his second and final writing credit for the band, and Fenriz has pointed to Celtic Frost, Bathory, and Vader as the riff blueprint, like he photocopied three different cheat sheets and stapled them together. It came out through Moonfog Productions in Europe and The End Records in the US, and Peaceville handles the catalog now.
