Black Antlers CD

Coil's "Black Antlers" on CD explodes out of the Dais label like a rain-soaked streetlamp flickering in the night, merging dark rhythms with unsettling lyrics. This release presents Thighpaulsandra's electronics and Cliff Stapleton's electric hurdy-gurdy, capturing Coil in a period of raw intensity and focused energy. Tracks like "Sex With Sun Ra (Part One - Saturnalia)" throb with a vibrant groove, infused with haunting poignance, while the album itself resonates with the spirit of resilience, pieced together after Jhonn Balance's passing. The music's rhythmic nature and striking composition reflect a sonic evolution that still breathes the band's signature eerie atmosphere.
