Running With Scissors LP

For his sixth album, Running with Scissors, Cavetown finally stepped out of his bedroom setup and into an actual studio, handing the controls to outside producers for the first time: Ryan Raines, David Pramik, Couros, and Underscores, working alongside Robin Skinner himself. The record pulls hard from Pierce the Veil and Bring Me the Horizon as much as hyperpop, chasing a sharper, more immediate sound than the bedroom records that came before it. Allie Cuva mixed it and Dale Becker mastered it, with Orla Gartland and Chloe Moriondo pitching in on the writing.
