Castlebeat II LP

Josh Hwang taught himself to record with no formal training and founded Spirit Goth just to put out his own music, and Castlebeat II keeps running that one-man operation out of his home studio. He blends dream pop, shoegaze, and 2000s alt-rock into hazy, melodic songs he calls "home-made pie," the same description that fit earlier records VHS and Half Life. A little rough around the edges, and he'd probably tell you that's the point.
