Die Without Hope LP

Die Without Hope, Carnifex's fifth album, first came out in 2014 on Nuclear Blast with producer Mark Lewis even sitting in for a couple of guitar solos. Vocalist Scott Lewis fronts a wall of crushing low end and blast-beat drumming that was basically the house style of American deathcore at its early-2010s peak, dense enough that it barely lets up. The instrumental closer "Reflection of the Forgotten" is the one breath of atmosphere before the title track slams the door shut.
