Camille Dalmais built a career on albums like Le Fil and Music Hole, where vocal loops and body percussion do the work most artists leave to a full band. She's been with Because Music since 2017's Oui, and outside music she picked up an Oscar, a Golden Globe and a Cesar for the Emilia Perez score. That same restlessness with arrangement carries through The Sound of Milk, one more entry from a songwriter who rarely repeats herself.
