Nude Club was Boy Harsher's own label before Atlantic came calling for Get Mean, the duo's third album and first major-label release. Jae Matthews and Augustus Muller wrote and recorded it across eight locations in the US, Mexico and Italy while working through their own breakup, a fact that tracks with AllMusic's read: brighter up front, harder emotionally by the second half. Not background music for it.
