Boards of Canada - Hi Scores CD

Hi Scores is the six-track dry run before Boards of Canada became the band everyone quotes, the Scottish pair's degraded synth tones and off-kilter rhythms already sounding like a half-remembered childhood on tracks like "Turquoise Hexagon Sun" and "Everything You Do Is a Balloon." Skam Records put it out first; a few years later that same nostalgic unease would define Music Has the Right to Children. This reissue lands it back in print under Warp, the label everyone associates with them now.
