Seven people set up live on a disused airfield near St Agnes and the ground starts breathing krautrock. Blind Yeo, led by Will Greenham and Anoushka Helm with Henry Greenham on synths, Phyllida Bluemel on cello, Phil Self on guitar, Jake Sheridan on bass, and Sam Pert on drums, cut their debut for Geneva's Bongo Joe label, pulling psych-folk and kosmische drift into afrobeat and gnawa currents. Anyone who hears Gong, Ash Ra Temple, Magma, Snapped Ankles, or Goat in there isn't wrong. This is a first album that already sounds like a scene.
