Bloom CD

Ben Böhmer traded piano and trumpet for synthesizers as a kid in Göttingen, and Bloom, his third album, is the sound of that melodic instinct never leaving him. It's his first record for Ninja Tune after two albums on Anjunadeep, Breathing and Begin Again, and the eleven tracks pull in Lykke Li, Oh Wonder, and Jonah without losing the dancefloor-to-headphones pull he's built his name on. Berlin's where he lives now, but the pop sense came first.
