(self-titled) LP

AVTT/PTTN throws Mike Patton, the restless voice of Faith No More and Mr. Bungle, into a room with the Avett Brothers, and the two camps come out the other side on a joint release from Ramseur Records and Patton's own Ipecac Recordings. Patton, Scott Avett, and engineer Dana Nielsen produced the nine songs, built from Scott's early sketches that Patton reworked and Seth Avett arranged. Scott has said the band pored over Patton's records as teenagers, long before either side imagined working together.
