Before she went solo, Alison Moyet was one half of Yazoo, lending her voice to Vince Clarke's ‘Only You’ back when synth-pop still felt like a rumor. Other finds her circling back to that sound with producer Guy Sigsworth, like a musician returning to the neighborhood she grew up in, older but recognizable. AllMusic, Mojo and Q all liked what they heard, and it landed on the UK albums chart. This one's pressed on red smoke vinyl.
