Musique Domestique LP

Adiciatz's Musique Domestique runs on a single odd current: Manon Nogier's amplified taisho koto humming low under Guillaume Lespinasse's keyboards and machines, the two of them working out of Lyon somewhere between pastoral folk and drone. Occitan poetry threads through the lyrics, a regional language rarely heard on a record like this. The eleven-track debut lands on Aguirre, the Belgian label that's built its name reissuing overlooked experimentalists like James Ferraro and Ian William Craig.
