Originally cut in 1977 for the Rama label at Gooseberry Sound Studios, produced and engineered by Dennis Bovell, who also plays bass and guitar here alongside Jah Bunny on drums and John Kpiaye on keyboards. The instrumental "The Grunwick Affair," about the 1976-78 Grunwick industrial dispute, landed at number 90 on Time Out's list of the 100 best London songs, and this marks Real Rock's first reissue of the album.
