From A Distance CD

Pittsburgh's 156/Silence has spent a decade welding metalcore to mathcore and syrupy synth atmosphere, most recently for Pure Noise Records. Think of From A Distance like a crowded green room: Tony Castrati of Crippling Alcoholism shows up on "Collateral," Mike Hranica of the Devil Wears Prada takes "Cannon Fodder," and Alex Reade of Make Them Suffer handles the title track. The band made this one after losing longtime bassist Lukas Booker, who died suddenly in 2025, and it still sounds like a full band, not a session project.
