Mono Singles LP

Before anybody else dared print the word, a scrappy Austin band put "psychedelic" on a business card in January 1966 and then on an album cover, daring the rest of the industry to catch up. Roky Erickson fronted the charge, and the 13th Floor Elevators' "You're Gonna Miss Me" cracked No. 55 on the Billboard Hot 100 that same year, a jolt of fuzz that still sounds like a warning shot. This set rounds up their original International Artists singles in mono, the way the band meant them to rattle a cheap radio speaker.
