Meddle is the sixth studio album by Pink Floyd, released on 31 October 1971 by Harvest Records. It was produced between the band's touring commitments, from January to August 1971.
The career-spanning compilation features some of the best-known album tracks from 1967 – 1994, including the band’s first UK Top 10 single See Emily Play, and the iconic Wish You Were Here, Comfortably Numb, Shine On You Crazy Diamond and High Hopes.
A Saucerful Of Secrets is the only album to feature the five band members: Roger Waters on bass and vocals, Richard Wright on keyboards and vocals, Nick Mason on drums, Syd Barrett and David Gilmour on guitar and vocals.
It's still R&B with the textures of analog Soul, but there is a heavy Hip Hop influence that brings the sum of Nicole's career together in a new sound that will define her future.
Largely written while on the road (and while in the air) on her years-long tour, with its lyrical contents expected to hint at what life was like performing its 149 concerts across two years.
Godspeed’s new album is an incredible and emotional gut punch – likely their best since their re-emergence. It’s incredibly memorable, heavy and rousing.
