The official debut album from popular Phonk producer DVRST is finally here! All 9 tracks are in the classic 2021-2022 chill Phonk style, employing Memphis samples for lead vocals and rich atmospheric textures, on top of hard hitting drum breaks and DVRST's signature bass tone. The album is entitled 'Echoes of Childhood', with emotions and sounds inspired by DVRST's childhood growing up in a small town on the Black Sea in Russia. His town regularly flooded...which brought him difficulty, but also a great appreciation for the things that he had...gratitude and sadness are themes that can be found throughout the album.
