HEALTH formed in Los Angeles in 2005. They were early collaborators with Crystal Castles and other late-2000s noise-influenced electronic rock acts. They have scored multiple Max Payne video games (Max Payne 3, 2012) and Grand Theft Auto V (2013). Their work has progressively moved toward heavier industrial and electronic territory across the catalog. The Disco4 series of remix and collaborative albums has featured contributions from Lamb of God, Nine Inch Nails, Ho99o9, Perturbator, Soccer Mommy, and many others.
HEALTH's sound combines industrial, electronic rock, noise rock, post-punk, dark electronic, and experimental rock with extensive integration of guitar feedback, electronic synthesis, and Duzsik's distinctive vocal delivery.
