Colter Wall (born 1995 in Speers, Saskatchewan) is a Canadian country and folk singer-songwriter with a deep baritone that draws Johnny Cash and Townes Van Zandt comparisons. Colter Wall was born in Speers, Saskatchewan on February 16, 1995. He is the son of former Saskatchewan premier Brad Wall. His debut EP Imaginary Appalachia (2015) and self-titled album (2017) on Young Mary's Record Co. and La Honda Records (Dave Cobb produced) established him as a major contemporary traditional country and folk voice. He has continued through Songs of the Plains (2018) and subsequent albums, with Thirty Tigers as distribution partner.
