Over the course of six self-recorded and mostly self-released LPs, Alex G has built a body of work unassuming in it's presentation but astounding in it's depth.
His first real "studio" album with an actual band, Will Toledo moves from bedroom pop to something approaching classic rock grandeur and huge narrative ambitions, with nods to the Cars, Pavement, Jonathan Richman, Wire, and William Onyeabor.
Written by Giannascoli and recorded across locations in Philadelphia and New York, the album was co-produced alongside his longtime collaborator Jacob Portrait.
