Alphabetland is the eighth studio album by American punk rock band X. Released digitally in April 2020, it is their first studio release in 27 years and the first with their original line-up in the past 35 years.
Cyclo-Sonic has former members of The Fluid, The Rok-Tots and Choosey Mothers. These bands drew on influences from hard rock groups of the late 1960s and early 70s as well as the exploding punk rock underground that was sweeping the nation at the time.
The anthemic guitar heroics present on Pablo Honey and even The Bends are nowhere to be heard here. Radiohead have stripped away many of the obvious elements of guitar rock, creating music that is subtle.
