Labi Siffre's third album was the first to be produced by Labi himself, who declares it to be "the one where it all came together... singing some of my best songs".
The album was his first recorded studio material released in three years and marked a change in direction for Gaye, leaving his trademark Motown soul for funky, light-disco soul.
The collection of love songs and observational pieces demonstrate Labi's developing talent, highlights being the hit "Thank Your Lucky Star" and songs like "Not So Long Ago" and "Bless The Telephone".
