Talking Heads' Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth produced this one at Sigma Sound in New York, and it turned into the commercial breakthrough for Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers: platinum in the US, Billboard 200 top 25, and a 1989 Grammy for Best Reggae Recording. ‘Tumblin' Down’ topped the R&B singles chart. Ziggy Marley, Bob Marley's oldest son, fronts the group on this Virgin Records release. Strong pickup, not a deep cut.
