Slide It In comes in two different skins, the original European mix and an American remix Keith Olsen built after John Sykes and Neil Murray re-recorded the guitar and bass parts from scratch. Whichever version you grab, it's the one that broke Whitesnake in America: 85 weeks on the Billboard 200, longer than any other Whitesnake record, double platinum at home and past six million sold worldwide. Jon Lord left afterward to rejoin Deep Purple, and this was the last Whitesnake album to wear the band's original snake logo.
