Violent Opposition, an Oakland fastcore/grindcore outfit, splits this 7" with Prepare For The Mindscan, a noise-grind project with a résumé built entirely out of splits and tapes, which feels about right. Mullet Death Records handles it, a DIY label that's become the go-to address for short, brutal splits from the underground's rowdier corners. Nobody involved is angling for radio play here; this is a record made for tape-trading and distro tables, and it knows it.
