New York Noise - Dance Music From The New York Underground 1978-82 2LP

Across two LPs, this Soul Jazz compilation gathers Liquid Liquid, The Contortions, Konk, Bush Tetras, Mars, Theoretical Girls, Lizzy Mercier Descloux, and Alan Vega from the no wave and mutant disco underground running through downtown New York clubs from the late 1970s into the early 80s, the point where punk noise and disco rhythm sections worked the same rooms.
