This 2LP set, curated by Jon Savage, assembles singles that defined 1976, a year notorious for its questionable chart-toppers. With heavyweights like Roxy Music's "Both Ends Burning" and the Ramones' "Havana Affair" on 180-gram vinyl, this pressing feels as solid as the tracks themselves. Even amidst the clutter of that era, these selections carve out a niche worth revisiting.
