Mile End Kicks soundtrack LP

Most soundtracks string together songs that have nothing to do with each other; this one picks a single target and works it from every angle. Avril Lavigne, The Warning, Poppy, and Charlotte Sands each cover a track from Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill, the 1995 album that reset what confessional rock could sound like for a whole generation of listeners. Billed as music inspired by the film rather than a proper score, the Mile End Kicks collection is built entirely on that cover-album structure.
