Dawn of the Dead soundtrack LP

Goblin wrote the score behind Dario Argento's Deep Red and Suspiria before landing the music for the European cut of Romero's Dawn of the Dead, released internationally as Zombi. Recorded in 1978, the score runs prog rock and jazz through eerie electronic textures, built for a film that needed its dread to come from the music as much as the screen. Labels like AMS Italy have kept it pressed on vinyl for collectors decades on, proof the thing never actually went away.
