The set pulls from the label's self-described "post-world" catalog, running through artists like Altın Gün, Meridian Brothers, and Yīn Yīn who've kept Bongo Joe genre-agnostic almost by policy. WOMEX ranked it among the world's top 20 independent labels in 2023, a nod that tracks with ten years spent digging up sounds nobody else was filing correctly.
