Splayed Werks 2LP

Tyondai Braxton's first full-length since 2022's Telekinesis, Splayed Werks draws together material he wrote between 2018 and 2025 for Erased Tapes. Braxton co-founded Battles, later moved into commissioned pieces for Bang on a Can All-Stars and a duo with Philip Glass, and teaches composition at Princeton; the fifteen-track 2LP leans toward dance and minimalist electronic writing, a real change of pace from Battles' prog-punk noise.
