Songs from a Ghost Town LP

Songs from a Ghost Town is Trampled by Turtles' 2004 debut, born after a gear theft left Duluth, Minnesota songwriter Dave Simonett with nothing but one acoustic guitar and a side project to fill. That stripped down instrument is still audible in the acoustic and electric mix the band built its sound on, the same blend that would later send three albums to No. 1 on the Billboard bluegrass chart and land them a spot on Letterman by 2012. This record catches them right at that starting point.
