The Metronome 12"

Robert Hood cut The Metronome in 2002 for his own M-Plant label, two tracks and nothing else, "Untitled A" and "Untitled B," built around nothing but what a drum can do. M-Plant strips a track down to kick, snare, hat, repeat, no melody to hide behind. This pressing comes back through M-Plant's remastered Perpetual Masters series, credited straight to Hood rather than any alias, and it still moves the same way it did then: forward, and only forward, built for a DJ to drop cold into a set.
