Three LP

Call it an occupational hazard: a band named the Black Heart Procession was bound to make a record where piano and horns drag like a funeral march and Pall Jenkins sings like he's already resigned to the ending. Three followed 1999's 2 on Touch and Go, and Pitchfork gave it a 7.8 at the time, calling it one of the more fully realized entries in the duo's early run, critic-speak for "they'd finally nailed the mood they'd been chasing." This reissue puts that slow-burn atmosphere back on vinyl, at the correct, funeral-parlor speed.
